Re-zoning of property for owner

MCA applied for re-zoning of this popular restaurant – essentially a land use regularisation application.  The facility has proven to be a popular destination amongst the local residents and further afield.  Part of the appeal is its quaintness – as the restaurant is contained within the existing detached, quaint residential dwelling.  The proposal supports this by retaining the original street facade and frontage and formalising parking to the back of the buildings. It promotes mixed land uses along a route with a sub-regional connecting function, a key factor in creating, socially and environmentally sustainable city districts.
